With 3-7 days guaranteed delivery, Donem ensures that customers’ shipments are delivered within schedules which allows them to plan ahead.
Pick Ups
Donem picks up most types of packages for customers who are unable to visit the United States after placing their orders because of busy schedules at little or no charge. We can pick up for our customers from homes, offices, suppliers, retailers and manufacturers to enable a faster connection and delivery.
Courier and Express
Whether you are sending a single envelope or shipping tons of goods, you can always rely on Donem’s first class services for the on-time delivery of goods.
Warehousing and Storage
With our modern facilities and sizeable warehouse, we are able to store and hold some of our customers’ goods for specific times pending shipment at little to no charge.
Packaging and Inspection
It is our policy to repackage and inspect every shipment that enters into our warehouse prior to shipment in compliance with Transport Security Agency and United States Custom’s requirements.
Custom Clearance
With our very experienced and highly efficient agents, our customers don’t have to pass through rigorous activities associated with clearing of their goods. We also let our customers to use their own clearing agents if that will be better for them
Enhanced Shipping Choices
When shipments go beyond Donem Cargo’s normal or standard shipping and handling processes, additional charges may be applied to your shipment in addition to the standard shipping rates. The chargeable amount will be dependent on the type of service offered. Any change to prior selected optional service must be notified to us before that shipment leaves our USA warehouse to the airport,customers may still be responsible for optional services requested if changes are made when the shipment is already in transit. We will duly refund customers their exact payment if optional service they requested is not rendered.
Insurance
Insurance coverage is limited to carrier’s and/or Donem Cargo’s liability only. Additional insurance coverage is payable upon customer’s request and upon payment of the premium quoted.
Receiver Pays
Donem Cargo’s normal billing policy is that every shipment must be paid for in the USA before shipment is made, whereas the shipper chooses “Receiver Pays”, additional charge of $10 USD will be applied to the invoice to recover some of the additional administrative costs and efforts to wire the money back to the USA.
Packaging
Donem Cargo provides free packing materials like boxes and tapes to customers and also helps to package general goods in a way that will be cost effective and safe delivery ensurance. Extra packaging charge may be applied on special and fragile items depending on the special packing materials used. Customers can choose to do the packaging themselves, Donem Cargo will not be responsible for any kind of damage to goods packaged by either us or the customer.
Delivery Notification
Donem Cargo only notifies the receiver when shipments are available for pick up at our Lagos office. Whereas the shipper in the USA needs extra peace of mind and wants to be notified when shipment is delivered or picked up at our Lagos office, we will sms or email the shipper the name, address and phone number that the receiver provides upon acceptance of that shipment as well as the time and date. Delivery notification option is only available to customers whose final destinaation of their shipment is Lagos Nigeria and costs only $5 USD per notification.
